Moment in Time

As the time passes so does the certainty

The certainty that everything will be okay

Pain surfaces and takes it's hold

Tears burn in the back of my head

Confusion and chaos are all around

Ones to love forever are no longer forever

Others come to life with turmoil but still love

Love among the madness shows a light

This was never my plan, never my control

It's time to let it go

To pass it on and learn to forgive

Learn to find the good in those you can no longer see

Letting it all go and letting faith take over

No control over what is to be

Looking for answers that are true

Searching within my heart for the peace I desire

As the time passes the certainty comes back

The certainty that everything will be okay
