An angel, to me, is my intuition,

Looking after my best interests

Guarding me from harm’s way

The inner voice inside me.

When I go against my will

I usually find trouble,

Knowing from the beginning

I should have listened to my instinct.

Then they were times when I did pay heed,

Where the results paid off with joyous rewards.

The cords of peace, faith and joy

Herald such a Heavenly work of art

Refreshing and soothing to the soul

Angel’s concerto of mercy, compassion, love and light

I have an angel by my side, just as you

Inspiring me with forgiveness and hope

“Endure, do not quit, Continue on”

Even though the storm seemed too much to bear

My heart felt pierced and ripped apart

That’s when the angel wiped away my tears

Releasing all fears, doubts and pain

All negative emotions dissolved

Encircled with a globe of warmth

Healing and soothing my soul

In an instant there was a calmness deep within

Swathed with serenity and peace

Aware that I was no longer alone

Courage and strength I gained

Wings that embraced and held me close

At that moment and time, motionless and still

I knew everything would be all right

Ready to conquer the world and its complexities

Tackling any trouble or anguish that befell

I will survive; I am no longer scared

Because I know God is with me and in me

He sent his angels to reveal we are his children

We are his care, providing for us and tending our needs

Our Father in Heaven touching our lives

With his silent kiss

His mercy and tender loving grace

To lighten our load and lessen our burdens

Guiding the way with his incandescent light

When life seems so dark and gloomy

Reminding us to “Keep the Faith”

He is always with us lest we forget

Affirmation of Our Lord’s eternal love
